This one was really fun (and relaxing, which is what I sorely need nowadays, sadly ~_~ ) to do.
I've always enjoyed catching the little inspirations or 'tributes' of sorts that the W.I.T.C.H. artists do from time to time, if you're astute enough to catch it, whether they'd meant to mimic things or not.
Like that one panel of Caleb taking a literal hit for Cornelia, which someone on here posted, I believe, and showed the correlation between it and a quite similar panel from the Sailormoon manga, of Endymion doing the same for Serenity.
And now, this, here, which is quite 'Dirty Dancing'-esque.
If it had been the absolute intent on their part, Hell if I know and others who steadily read the comics and are super up on the latest art and anything, period, within relation, as I do not and am not.
At any rate, it was, again, a joy to draw this. For one, it reminds me of my hubby and I, and for another, I haven't honestly drawn Irma in a while...which should be a sin for me, since she's my second fave W.I.T.C.H. gal, with her humor pretty much mirroring my own.
AND, lookit. I drew another guy...AND he didn't come out like complete shit. *Dances*
Ah, it's wonderful to see Irma and Joel together - it really drives me crazy, the comic did this turn and invented that Stephen-guy to be Irma's big love. Thank you for this liquid awesomeness
Joel was my favorite Irma love interest. I hated how he dissappeared in the comics without hardly any real realitonship yet with Irma. Worse yet, he only was in the background in the series's second season.
Andrew Hornby stole the show's second season instead.

He did, didn't he?? He was/is ugly, too (Andrew). ~_~ Lol
